Drawing room in the home of Ignacio Allende. Women would sit on the cushions and men on the settees.  It was here that plans would have been deliberated.  On September 29th 1810, on the feast of St Miguel, the town’s patron, under the pretext of a celebration, fireworks were to be fired as the start of the insurrection.
